LOCAL HOBBY SHOPS

First Photo: This is a well timed shot of the team standing on the taxiway with the planes converging head-on right before they go from 50 to 0 mph by violently pitching the nose up 90 degrees.  Second Photo: The Edge 540 on a super low knife edge pass.  The folks in the tower got a little nervous nervous during this maneuver.  I'm not sure why?

First Photo: Airshow performer John Klatt tries to smoke out the model team in his Staudacher 300-D.  We certainly didn't mind the front row seat!   Second Photo: The beautiful color scheme on bottom of the Edge 540 doesn't get noticed until you're looking up from below.

First Photo: A close-up of the cockpit of the Composite Extra 330.  The little pilot's name is "Slick" and he weighs about 2oz after losing his lunch.  Second Photo:  The trailer with pilots and planes headed out to the show line.  It's about 3/4 of a mile from the hangar to the performance area

First Photo: The models rest quietly under the wing of a huge corporate jet in our weekend home at Global Aviation.  Our good friends at Global have been outstanding hosts over the last five years.  Second Photo:  The model Extra 330 in the foreground with Tim Webber's Extra 300 in back.   We didn't have enough paint on hand to transform the yellow model to a Geico Extra 300 model.  We could have saved a ton of money by switching our insurance to Geico.
